Can anyone recommend a good subway location... Or should I start another thread?

:D

Soundy 01-24-2015 11:34 PM

Right next door to E-SPEC's IHOP

snails 01-24-2015 11:37 PM

Can you aware me more on this location.. Also I need a good shop to change my muffler bearings. Can subway do that also?

westopher 01-25-2015 12:37 AM

Guys i need to chime in on this.
I know the sandwich artist and he is very remorseful about this. He is willing to meet with you next tuesday and give you the centre cut pieces of the jalapeņo he owes you. He made a bad decision but didn't think it would come to this. Everything should be fine when you have jalapeņo in hand. To cheap out on jalapeņo is human, but it takes a real man to return jalapeņo.

Grim 01-25-2015 12:47 AM

why do you guys go subway?
quiznos is so much better..............

So I was at the Subway on Marine near Cambie and I asked for extra jalapenos. The person behind the counter put on like 1 more jalapeno per side when I asked, so I asked again and they picked out the two smallest jalapeno slices to put on either end again. After seeing my sparsely covered sub, I asked yet again for more jalapenos and the person put on a slice like this:

Yes, they gave me the stem.

I left after paying and now I want my money back. What to do?

Questions

1) Why did you still pay when the sub wasn't prepared to your satisfaction?
2) Why didn't you just tell him to take it out and add more jalapenos until you're satisfied?

kkthind 01-25-2015 04:37 AM

Is Mr. Sub still around?

FerrariEnzo 01-25-2015 08:01 AM

Yes! Same with mustard. I say just a little bit please. And they squeeze a massive blob on one end. Then I make them scrape it all off with a knife.

And that is why you shouldn't leave Gastown, there is already a Subway there.

That's what just happened tonight. I went back and this time I got my extra jalapenos, but when I asked for "a little bit of light mayo, mustard, salt and pepper please" I ended up with Keith Richards' sized white lines all across my sub. I think the viscosity of mayo actually makes it more difficult to apply smaller amounts than mustard, since mustard seems to more easily flow in small amounts from the bottle.

Seriously see that blob of white in the right corner of my sub? It is like a marble-sized pool of mayo. We need sandwich artists, not serial over-mayo'ing meal murderers. Maybe with Revscene's help we can get a hashtag trending like #LessMayoPlease. This is a serious social problem that we as a society are just swiping onto the wrapper and ignoring.

What's with all the scam threads this month on RS??? :fulloffuck:

What's next, a Nigerian prince trying to fake car parts to an RS member?

-reminds me of a scammer who called my home number two years ago. The dude, with a thick Indian accent, asked me to turn on my computer so that I can make some changes to my Windows registry settings.

He said that he was helping me "protect my computer from hackers".

Yeah, right. I yelled at the motherfucker to stop calling me and hung up on him. :fuckyea:
