1996 Honda Civic DX Hatchback Hello RS, I am selling my Civic as described below. I did a lot of work to this car with the expectation of driving it for a while. But my grandma has moved back in with our family and I need an SUV for driving her around (she has hip problems and has issues getting into a lowered car). Makes a great first car, winter beater, daily commuter, etc. Very good on gas. The Basics: 305,xxx KM (will keep going up slowly as I drive it every day) Clean title, not a rebuilt status. Rare "Midori Green" paint color. No leaks. No need to add oil between changes either. Mechanically needs nothing. The issues it does have (see below) doesn't impact drivability Recent Maintenance (all done in the last 5,000 KM unless otherwise stated): - Timing belt + water pump done at 260,000km - Passenger side front wheel bearing replaced by Bert's Automotive on Kingsway - New Honda OEM alternator belt + power steering belt - New Honda OEM valve cover gasket, distributor o-ring, spark plug seals - Manual transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, clutch fluid, and coolant replaced using Honda OEM fluids only - Oil + filter changes every 6,000 KM using 10W30 high mileage specified oil - New Fram air filter - Clutch replaced by previous owner a couple of years ago, still grabs strongly with no slippage. - Passed AirCare in Fall 2014. Not that it matters now, but shows the engine is still healthy. - New front brake pads/rotors last year (<10,000 KM), rear brake rotors/pads still good. Modifications: - T1R Coilovers, adjustable height and dampening. Very stiff and performs well. - Adjustable front camber arms - '96 JDM Integra Type-R brakes (rear disc brake conversion and 4x114.3 lugs all around) - Stainless Steel brake lines - Cat-back exhaust, I also have the stock one if you want it for free - Pioneer CD stereo deck with AUX/USB/iPod input - '99-'00 electronic climate control conversion - 4x Buddy Club P1 wheels (15") on Falken Ziex ZE912 summer tires, 60% tread left - 4x steelies ("13) on Arctic Claw TXI winter tires, used for 2 winters only. The Bad: - Minor scrapes, dents, touch-up marks, etc. on body. Rear bumper cover is sagging slightly on drivers side (see pics). - Typical Honda quarter panel/fender rust. Causes trunk to leak a little in HEAVY rain only. The leak comes up from the floor, so if you added one of those Weather Tech trunk mats your stuff won't get wet. - Odometer is stuck, tripmeter however works fine - Interior trunk release lever doesn't work - Rear defroster doesn't work, probably a wiring issue. RS PRICE: $2400 OBO This price is for the car with summer and winter tires. I am open to lower offers if you only want one set. If you're interested, shoot me a PM.
