Nice, I don't often go out by edmonds, but my work is less than 10 minutes away. Might use their bays sometime.

YES YES thank you OP!! Been looking for a touchless laser wash without those stupid guide rails as my car is lowered and has a lip. +1 for Burnaby too!

Does anyone know what their rate is for the self-serve wash?

knight604 08-19-2015 08:13 PM

How does it compare to the north van one?

RevYouUp 08-19-2015 08:39 PM

It says in each bay that bucket use is not allowed.

i just came back from washing my mom's mdx. it hasn't been washed in 2 months, but it has only seen 3 days of rain, and did not have any bird crap, etc.

i paid for the $14 wash with the underbody spray and double soap/rinse which included the protectant. everything went well until the blow dry stage, which didn't do the best job because the dryer was dripping water back onto the car after passing over. otherwise i was happy.

the self-wash bays were packed. they even had an aisle where you can line up to wait, so i have to assume that this happens often.

i also passed by that dump of a self-wash place near royal oak and that was pretty full as well.

From sounds of things, it's best to go super early in the morning or just before closing to use their self serve wash bays to avoid lineup.

no hours listed for the self serve, so im guessing 24hrs?

They close at 10pm IIRC

boibuddha 08-21-2015 09:19 PM

I'm no business expert but having a self-serve wash that closes sounds like a poor business practice.

mindcruising 08-21-2015 11:33 PM

It's probably some sort of regulation, since it's located right beside residential area.

I have been going to this car wash on and off for the past couple months. The do it yourself wash bays are nice as the building is large and covers your car in shade. They have a cool do it yourself dryer thing that's kind of neat as well. Touch less I wouldn't recommend it, my car is usually washed often, so usually its not very hard to make the car look clean. However the touchless seemed to not take off the dirt off the front fenders very well. For touch less I only recommend Auto Shine downtown :)

supafamous 09-29-2015 08:27 PM

Tried this place today and the touchless service worked pretty well - wheels were still dirty but that's not a surprise. The body of the car looked close enough to a hand wash for the money (I paid $12). Dryer could have been better but it was good enough as well.

I'd definitely go there during the winter.
