Cadillac ELR - thoughts?

So yesterday I happened to be at Dueck's and can't help but notice this 2014 Cadillac ELR on display. MSRP was 83,130 :suspicious:

Say if you have $80K to spend on a new car; would you consider buying the Cadillac or would you spend the same amount on an Audi or BMW

the car in question:

That grille looks like a decal :heckno:

What the fuck is that hideous piece of shit?

If I had 80k to spend on a car, I don't think it would be on a Cadillac, Audi or BMW... for 80k I'm not buying something that'll be worth 40k in 5 years.

At close to $100k I'd be leasing the ELR if I had to get one. If I had a choice between the ELR a BMW or an Audi I'd go for an A6 TDI or 535d

$80k before tax :lawl:

I saw a demo version of it with Ontario plates a while ago. Had to Google up what it was cause it just looked like a really wide elantra

I'd rather just pony up 20~30k more and get a Tesla.

Or if I'm actually trying to get a freaking hybrid, I'd consider Lexus first.

Why spend 80k on a soup-up volt?

If somebody offered me that car for free, based on the promise that I had to actually keep it and drive it, I'd politely decline.

Hell, why bother mentioning any other make and model when you can have this for an extra 3,000... which is chump change for anyone looking to spend that over 80k on a car:

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 | Supercar | Chevrolet Canada

Corvette Z06 - $86,995

Or if you want to SAVE nearly 20k pick up the regular Corvette.

Wrap it and use crack reflecting lines just like your friend's GT-R. :troll:
