Completely new to manual car and I don't know the difference between these two I am wanting to buy.

Short Shifter Honda Accord Acura TL Type s TSX 6SPEED Manual 2 4L 3 0L 3 2L 3 5L | eBay

Black Metal Manual Short Throw Dual Bend Gear Shifter Selector for Honda 10x1 5 | eBay

Any advice you manual drivers can give me? I am wanting to make a purchase on short shifter, shift knobs (not sure about weight etc..)

If you're new to driving manual, what makes you think you need or want a short shifter?

It's your car, get what you want but I think it would actually impede your learning process.

I have to reach so much when putting into gears. I held the shifter below the shift knob and it was much easier and quicker shifting. Also have a new shift knob which makes the throws easier but not sure if I want to settle with it yet. I do want to dress up my car, new accessories is always a fun thing for me.

Cosmetically, most of the shifter is covered by the boot anyways, unless you get something a long the lines of a K-Tuned, fully adjustable unit.

Have you tried re-adjusting your seat so you're more upright? Considered a shifter extension? They come in a variety of lengths, straight, angled, S shaped....

If you want full height/throw adjustment and "looks cool", see how the K-Tuned unit works for you.
