So compared to the maybach-mercedes S class which was just a slightly more upscale model of the S-Class line up. This is an elongated Coach Built S-Class.

Interesting. I fail to see why they think this will fair better than their previous attempts 5 years ago with the 57 and 62 models. Nevertheless, here it is.

donjalapeno 02-18-2015 10:12 PM

They should of just came out with this instead of the regular S600 Maybach. They're also thinking of a GL-Maybach

!Aznboi128 02-18-2015 10:16 PM

Is it just me or do I think it should have more power

asian_XL 02-18-2015 10:23 PM

high class hooker should be one of the options

Klondike 02-19-2015 12:53 AM

Akinari 02-19-2015 01:30 AM

I would have to take off my shoes every time before I step into that thing in fear of tarnishing the lovely carpets

Manic! 02-19-2015 01:49 AM

Am a seeing things or is one side narrower then the other?

melloman 02-19-2015 07:09 AM

:okay:

Came in expecting Maybach with over-fenders, a big wing and lots of rivets.

Leaving disappointed. :inout:

yray 02-19-2015 07:26 AM

The_AK 02-19-2015 08:08 AM

One of my greatest automotive memories was the time I got to ride in the Wynn Hotel Maybach in Vegas. It felt like we were in a luxury airliner. So comfortable and quiet, it was like an isolation chamber.

It must be so nice to be part of the 1%

:concentrate:

Sure looks like it. But I'm guessing it's the angle/lens used.

white rocket 02-19-2015 12:07 PM

Clicked hoping for over-fenders that I could mock. Disappointed.

Interesting point, the Otis Maybach 57 was widely publicized when it sold for 60k at some art auction. What was never really reported was the fact that the thing was half assed back together.

I don't know where it is now, but late in 2012 the doors were put back, the grille and the trunk were moved back to their original sides of the vehicle, and a new hood purchased.

When we saw the car the roof was still fucked, and there wasn't much that could be done about that cheaply, the fenders and front bumper were in shambles after having those stupid fenders pulled off the thing.

Since then I havn't heard anything, one of my family members said the car was taken away from the shop who had put the doors back on, and he didn't know what the owner was doing with it.

Pretty dumb to put money into trying to fix something like that. Might as well have left it as is and stored it in the hopes that someone might want a piece of hip hop memorabilia in the future.

Somewhat of a shame they tried to restore it since in a way it was a piece of art. Good or bad art is up for debate though.

Pretty sure the 1% wouldn't be able to afford that. We're talking top 0.01%
