Do NOT go to Excellence Auto Glass Ltd

Here is why.

I was driving on the highway and a rock cracked my windshield. The crack was too big to be repaired so I decided to just replace the whole windshield itself. I found Excellence Auto Glass on Groupon and read all the reviews which are all really positive. Decided to finalize my decision and go with them. Called the person I believe named Fred and made an appointment. They came and were really friendly then worked on my windshield which seem really well done. However, after a rainy day I realize there was a big leak in front of the drivers side on the inside. I called them (lifetime warranty) and I went to them to get it fixed. This was about a week in. Afterwards, they fixed it, all friendly once again, but the next day the leak was even bigger than before. Time was wasted for them and me but still I needed my windshield fixed especially if it was leaking from the inside on the drivers side which made it really dangerous for me to drive when it was raining. Another appointment was booked and this time they came over to fix it. After removing the tape the next day I realized what a horrible job they did. All they did was smeared the top with glue hoping water won't leak in but me being me, decided to give them the benefits of the doubt and wanting it all to be over. After a few days of sunshine came the rain. Yes, once again, it leaked. Called them yesterday and told them about how disappointed I was and how unprofessional the job they did last time was done. They apologized and made an appointment with me today (this was in November 2014) a bit after lunch time. It is officially 3:30PM. I waited and waited, called and called, it just kept going to voice mail. Received a call back and Bob (employee) said he was sick (3:40PM). Says he will call me at 10AM the next morning. He calls and tells me they don't have the molding (mold I am assuming) got to wait until tomorrow morning. Told him weather said it was going to rain and it has been more than a month since my windshield has been leaking. Kept repeating to play it by ear. He installed the molding the next day (still in November 2014) to only cut the interior pillar of my car. Additionally, the seal wasn't properly installed and a bit of water still gets in. Til this very day they refuse to negotiate any reimbursements or even fixing my windshield.

I hope you get your issues fixed. I also want to take that paragraph and format it in MS Word.

Call up the BBB, or hit up Steele on Your Side.

That's a terrible experience, I'm on my 3rd windshield already, given the nature of the shape of my car, rocks love flying up and screwing over my windshield :derp: have never had an issue with Speedy Glass or anywhere else.

Hope you get it resolved!

Live and learn. Especially in the online world.

Not sure about other people, but I limit my groupon purchases strictly to things I'd like to try or I have tried already. But on something important like this, online reviews doesn't cut it.

Oh, I'm sorry. Punctuation clearly isn't a part of proper grammar.

i must have missed a sentence where a period or semicolon would have been needed.
