Can't decide on Bride VIOS III or EXAS III... anyone has them?

I am buying a bucket seat but can't decide whether to get Bride VIOS III or EXAS III... anyone here has them?

I really hope I can sit in one and feel it first...

Owned both, exas was a lot tighter and harder to get into. Higher side bolsters

bucket seats are complicated, really differs from person to person depending on preference, fitment and usage. the vios III fit me well and isnt bad for daily although it doesnt hold you in as well when pulling g's. id prefer the vios III, 360 days of comfort, 5 days of sorta not so great at the track

Do you not own them anymore? in terms of the shoulder, I know the exas has smaller shoulder wing, but does it feel any difference?

.

In a previous car. Didn't notice too much different shoulder wise, until I switched to Zeta 3 which I noticed to be a bit more snug in the shoulders.

For a seat with higher bolster, do you notice your elbow hitting the seat when shifting? Thanks a lot for answering!

hmmm I honestly don't remember for the exas. I only had it for a month then sold it for a vios. The biggest pain was getting into the car without a quick release steering wheel.

The zeta my elbow didn't hit but I have long arms, maybe someone else can chime in?

No experience with the two seats mentioned by OP but...

I'm 6ft 165lbs, lanky mofo, I find the Zeta's fit me perfectly, though like any full bucket getting in and out sucks (especially when you forget you have race seats and just sort of try to slide in and get the side bolster up the ass).. oh and the legs being pressed close together creating the cock-and-balls sweat sandwich also sucks.

But man, the feels of getting into your race seat :megusta:

i got rid of all my seats, found that the Recaro SPG fit me the best. really comes down to what fits for you, one of the most annoying parts of finding the right seat. even when it felt good on the floor, once in the car sometimes its not the same

Unfortunately I can basically only choose between EXAS or VIOS for Bride seats, because I drive a Miata NA8C. It is a small car... actually even the VIOS should be pressing against the door panel already... I was hoping to hear that there is not too much differences so I can safely go with EXAS... it seems like a lot of people like the VIOS though..

Aww that's too bad... it also sucks that there are not many shops carries bucket seat that you can go in and test it... actually I know of none in Vancouver...

Check out the Racers Edge as well, they sell everything from seats, to NOS, to the Motec system exhaust.
