The Drop Box The Drop Box Film - Award-Winning Documentary About Life This movie is currently on limited release, but the interest has been growing rapidly, and more screens keep opening up for it. It's a documentary that follows a Korean pastor, Lee Jong-rak, and his efforts to protect vulnerable children. Hundreds of unwanted babies are abandoned in Seoul, every year. By installing a drop box outside his home, Pastor Lee provides a safe alternative to leaving a baby to die. Although it's distributed by Focus on the Family, it's not really a religious film. The goal appears to push for adoption. There's so many children without homes, and something needs to be done about it. It's been extended for another week at selected theatres. Colussus has showings until the 19th. |
as a parent I would die for the children too.... I can't wait to go home and hug the kids fuck it im leaving early :tears: |
I saw this movie a few nights ago. It's incredibly moving, so you may want to prepare for waterworks. Pastor Lee is a frickin' hero, by any standard. "Thank you for continuing to get up every time the bell rings" - Director Brian Ivie |
