i was involved in a similar case like this accident last year. the person turning left has the onus no matter what the situation is.

It's exactly like somebody rear ending. With no evidence that the person in front reversed and hit you, you will be at fault. but good thing you were going straight, which means you have the right of way, the person in the camry is at fault regardless.
