| car accident, yellow integra Type R :(
Saw this walking home Friday the 13th 
I wasn't there to witness anything but my girlfriend said she heard it happened followed by a bunch of screaming and swearing.
The integra was SUPER CLEAN and looked tastefully modded without a doubt.
The other car involved in the accident was a POS white thing, rusted out etc. My guess is that car did not have collision on their insurance judging by the condition of the car.
I hope both parties are ok regardless of how this accident occurred!

Good friend of mine. Sad incident . Not his fault either for an even bigger blow. He's owned since new and it's got pretty low miles too. It will be rebuilt and see the track again!!

I hope to be working closely with him during the process as I had a similar incident back in July with similar damage. The ICBC struggle is real
Regardless of that though, this caR will ride again. He loves it and it has deep sentimental value.

The white car was what I think a Pontiac Firefly. Novice driver made a left turn into the R.
Driver is okay. He's going to rebuild. He has the money and the technology.

Hi guys,
Yes that is my beloved Type R that was my baby. Owned since new -- about 60K in mods over the years.....
Car is a write off. Frame is bent at the A-pillar on RHS -- pushed back about two inches
I have whiplash and back injury -- but otherwise ok.
I was travelling straight on Drake and as I approached Homer intersection -- an eastbound car turned into my path attempting to make a left turn as if I wasn't there. The crash was tremendous.
Good thing my car had a welded in 6 point cage and no airbags. That saved me lots of injury
I yelled at the guy (in blue hoody) for at least 5 minutes. He said he didn't see me. I said "How the F*&^ can you not see a yellow car on a sunny day coming the other way???!"
When I saw his mom (who was seated in passenger seat in his car) was quite badly injured -- I calmed down
I just got the call from ICBC today that car is not fixable. So I'm gonna salvage it and part it out
Be careful out there guys. Some asshole is going to ruin your day when you least expect it

Glad to hear you are okay- hopefully those injuries wont bug ya for long..
I've done a lot of track days with w/ PDC in the past and always saw and admired your ITR. sucks to see it like this.

Figured you'd chime in soon enough. Glad you're OK all things considered. 'Tis a sad day for the ITR world. This car and it's owner certainly have been a staple of the community. Great times were had over the years. Onward and upward my friend 
Guess I'll buy a 997 Turbo now and we'll have some fun!
