just letting you guys know that this is out there, and it's free.

i'm not super technical savvy so not sure how much is "fluff" advertising, and how much is real.

but it seems pretty good. i got my beta invite a while ago and have been testing it out.

it's got a double log in, the second log in only you know the password. so if you forget, your account is lost.

proton to proton is encrypted

proton to other, you have a choice of setting a passcode, so the receiver gets a URL which they have to type in the passcode to view the message.

self destruct messages are pretty neat.

no one's "hacked" it yet, even though they have a 200 or 300k reward.

anyway, you privacy guys let me know what you think.

although some people have told me nothing can beat paid service privacy stuff like PGP etc. i am not sure how to verify this.
