The OP is asking a legitimate automotive question... if you guys have no intentions of helping him, then why come into the thread just to bash on him? In my opinion, this type of behavior ruins the automotive community on RS because it discourages other members (especially new ones) to ask questions/make threads in the future.

I know the 4spd in my Element will hold the gears until redline around 6500/6600rpm if I put my foot the floor and hold it there :pokerface:
