Tire diameter variance
 

how much does this really matter?

i've owned a few cars in the past where i've switched up rims/tires without really paying much attention to this but it just came to my attention now when my gf was shopping for new tires, they wouldn't sell her tires that had lower sidewalls

i ended up buying a set that's 195/60/14...which is fine for my teg. I haven't decided if I'm gonna use it as a winter set or give it to my gf cus her tires are fairly worn. Thing is, her car is an 02 civic with stock tires of 185/70/14.
If i give her the 195/60/14 would that be ok?

i've checked the tire calculator...looks like diameter will be off by ~4% and speed will be off by about 5km at 100 km also car looks like it will be revving more but these are pretty trivial things. The load rating also goes down with the lower sidewall but only by one (from 87-86). I don't think it's that big of a deal because she never carries passengers.

now, i wouldn't be asking this question if it was for myself but would it be safe to run the lower diameter tires with the civic? Are the differences trivial or is it actually significant?
