The car was complete other than maybe a couple stickers to go on. Also, no classic porsches. A few nice porsches, yes. Classics, no chance. Its still cool to see the cars, and him, but really was nothing crazy. |
Yeah, you think it's gonna be like a rock concert but it just ends up being kinda meh. Cool to see a legend in person I suppose. |
Nice to see the owner of the black+white Porsche kept his word about converting the exterior to an older style. I did the wheels in the black color, glad to see it in person and holding up strong :fullofwin: https://mgreviewsblog.files.wordpres...ce-20-copy.jpg Here's how it looked like the last time I saw it: http://i60.tinypic.com/2cftils.jpg I wonder how much body parts for these kind of cars go for... $$$ |
The before looks a lot better. I don't see how he converted the exterior to an older style by wrapping the hood/bumper and adding a decal. |
sneak into aberdeen to see the beetles http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b8...psisjtnfe6.jpg http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b8...psvrf52kv2.jpg http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b8...pspzxz4ldi.jpg |
Out of curiosity, how do these RWB kitted cars drive after? They look pretty damn aggressive that's for sure. |
Maybe it's just me but I feel like I'm getting over the RWB craze. Still love the styling and aggressiveness but they're almost becoming mainstream now. Like the exclusivity is lost a bit. With all the money here there's gonna be a bunch of them roaming the streets soon. |
Vimeo is ok but why don't you guys post it on YouTube? You will get a lot more attention around the world for sure. |

I think they already had numerous widebody kits for 911 back in 1980s. |
Thats why there are so many shitty fibreglass cars on the market now though that aren't worth buying for someone like me. |
Amazing work on the green Porsche. RWB is on another level of craftsmanship. |
Not sure about RWB cars, but I'll have wet dreams about that gray .2 RS inside and yellow 996TT outside. Perfection |

However you should realize that some of the well respected cars in automobile history had fiberglass body. He's talking about fibreglass glued onto Porsche fenders. |
Those cars were designed with fibreglass parts in mind. If you just start replacing metal parts with fibreglass and no idea, thats the problem. |
In hindsight.. Kind of a weird premise for an event given that the car was complete... Almost like he's a circus animal. Come for the show and buy some souvenirs! |

^how about changing its driving dynamic by simply making it wide body and having low offset rims? Or does a RWB build consist of more supporting mod? |

Just by visually looking at that car, you can see wide rims, huge brembos, I'm assuming coilovers, roll cage, etc. Nakai tends to stay NA but you can ask for Turbo too. http://www.speedhunters.com/wp-conte...-Rotana-01.jpg http://www.speedhunters.com/wp-conte...-Rotana-10.jpg http://www.speedhunters.com/wp-conte...-Rotana-06.jpg http://www.speedhunters.com/wp-conte...-Rotana-07.jpg http://www.speedhunters.com/wp-conte...-Rotana-10.jpg http://www.speedhunters.com/wp-conte...-Rotana-04.jpg |
Still cool to see RWB Porsches. On the other hand, I've gotten tired and sick of seeing rocker bunny, liberty walk and other widebody shit. |

Otherwise, it was nearly a dream come true seeing one of these formally displayed in conjunction with the young lady taking some professional shots. |

Best car of the showcase IMO. Best colour scheme as well. http://s14.postimg.org/5643g8a9t/201...10_27_17_1.jpg |
