It's was all kind of meh. I enjoyed it but nothing really groundbreaking. Wonder if Season 2 will get a green light?

Season 1 was during the "summer" off-season for the NFL, contract negotiations, new teams retirement. Hopefully Season 2 is during the NFL season, steroid scare for one of the players, side chicks coming out. etc. Also a rivalry with another team, 2 of the guy are on the Dolphins, Vernon is on the Cowboys, would've been easier for story telling purposes if they were all on the same team.

Agreed the show has got much better as the series progressed.

Like others here, I also had a feeling all the "feel good" moments would be momentum toward something terrible happening during the finale.

Next season should bring more drama once the season starts. My gut tells me that Charles Greane is going to get a serious injury, especially now with the baby coming.
