Transportation Minister Todd Stone was driving his family to the ferry on Vancouver Island when a police officer caught him going over the limit and ticketed him $196. On Friday, he apologized and assured the public he’ll set a better example going forward. “This was unacceptable,” Stone said in a statement. “I can assure you I will learn from this; I need to be more careful and it won’t happen again.” The ticket has been paid, according to a spokeswoman from Stone’s ministry. http://bc.ctvnews.ca/polopoly_fs/1.2..._620/image.jpg |
Ugh ... "I'm sorry for doing what the vast majority of the population does on a daily basis." Can we get outraged when a politician actually does something worth being outraged about? |
I don't mind Todd Stone though, he was a pretty big advocate for speed limit increase. |
Why is this news?! And why is this thread worthy?! Jesus. |
