This has been mentioned and discussed about over and over again on Coast to Coast AM, especially when Linda Moulton Howe is on. i've been hearing/feeling explosions every now and then for the last few months, that even rattle the house, contacted the city to no avail....assumed it was thunder or even a "skyquake" (as it happened on clear days) since there were no reports of explosives blasting, it happened again this morning before 8am and finally heard from the city saying that BC Hydro was conducting blasting

^ Yeah, it's part of the new transmission line construction Hyrdo is doing. Apparently they use explosives to 'cut' the wires. I saw a bulletin on them warning surrounding neighbourhoods about it.

As for those noises, like others have said, I thought trains right away...

...though it's still creepy as fuck!

I live right by the trains in Gastown and this is the exact noise I hear as well
