Do you need to display the front plate of a Collectors car? Since I couldn't find any specific info on the ICBC site, I assume that you need both the front and rear plates, regardless of having collectors plates or regular. However, I've also heard that when you have the multi-collector plate (3+ collector cars), they only give you one rear plate to attach to whichever car you're driving that day.. which seems to indicate that it would be ok to only run with a rear plate (since they didn't even give you a front one..) Does anyone know if the front plate is a requirement? Or if it's true that you only get the rear plate for multi-collector status? I would also be interested in any cops opinion on if they pull over collector cars with no front plate. |
Motor Vehicle Act 3.011 Number plates issued for a vehicle under the Commercial Transport Act or Motor Vehicle Act must be attached (a) one plate to the front and one plate to the rear of the vehicle, if 2 number plates are issued for a vehicle, and (b) to the rear of the vehicle, if a single number plate is issued for a vehicle. Seems pretty self explanatory to me. Receive one plate, display one plate. Receive two plates, display two plates. |
You're required to properly attach and display all plates issued to you. |
Crystal clear, thanks! |
