I got it last night, I think it's a big upgrade from NHL 15. The gameplay is a lot better; much more realistic, you can't cut through the entire team using left bumper or right stick dekes anymore. EASHL being back is a big bonus as well.

Can't wait to grab it after work

Well after 8 games on EASHL, it's worth it.

I'm finding the game more realistically difficult. AI is a bit better, you can't sauce passes end to end resulting in tons of breakaways.

I'd say it's a huge upgrade over 15, especially getting half of the modes back.

Load time is better but still sucks.
They didn't add back a lot of features from EASHL. No custom jerseys is a huge bummer. Not being able to set captains and alternate captains sucks too.

I've been having a lot of fun playing this though. Don't really have too much negative things to say as I didn't play 15 and need my NHL fix on a console :P. What console is everyone playing on?

I bit the bullet and bought the bundle today.. Just got home to plug it in.. so many updates! Can't wait to play this.. I had NHL13 from PS3 days..

PS4. I miss my Xbox 360.

Nhl 16 is very frustrating for me right now. EASHL feels laggier than playing say versus online. They really ramped up the realism of this game is so hard.

Just picked up the game and went 2-0-0 online (both one goal games) on the PS4.

I consistently ranked in the top 100 leaderboards on the X360 versions, and found NHL16 to be a lot harder to just pick up and play.

My passing seems to always be off and I'm not sure I'm doing faceoffs properly. My first game, the faceoffs were like 8-20 or something lopsided like that.

Eashl is really not fun at all.

There's a delay in everything you do .. quite disappointing.

Got it for the ps4. I have not played NHl since 14. I don't remember this game being this tough. I find playing against cpu I have no trouble in pro, but all star I get dominated lol. Other then that so far so good!

I opened my ports and changed my MTUto 1473 and the lag is better. I read 1472 is the magic number.

We shouldnt have to do anything to be honest..god damn EA. All reviews are saying there are intermittent lag issues
