90 300zx TTOP Leak fix?

So i have been doing some searching lately to fix a leaky T-TOP and i've come to 3 conclusions.
1 - I can either buy new TTOPs for 200$ a side.
2 - I can silicone sealer the TTOP
or 3..
Now i've had this idea but i wanted to see if this would actually work.
Anyone heard of Flex seal? its like Plastidip but its clear and its more used to seal cracks and leaks. Think i should spray Clear Flex Seal over the TTOP Leak areas and see if it stops?

What do you guys think? know any solutions of your own?

i would grab the rubber foam tape, run it on the area u think its leaking and make a gasket around it with silicone

if it works YAY, if not, replace the seals with oem seals

I would buy a raincoat. Or...

check your door hinge for sag... replace T-top weatherstripping https://www.z1motorsports.com/produc...oducts_id=1515

just 275 US per side. Or $350 canadian... plus shipping... ... plust tax... plus duty... so about ~$425 a side.

you could try a generous amount of lacquer thinner which can cause the rubber to swell so you might be able to get a few more years out of it.
