lawn mower and sprinkler

Hey everyone, my project for the next little bit is to grow a new lawn. Looking ahead, I'm in the market for a lawn mower and sprinkler.

Currently looking at these and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations/advice.

Lawn mower - likely going with an electric.

Ideally, you should lay sod/seed in early spring/fall due to the lower temps and rain.

Please don't water your lawn during the day.

I have the same lawn mower as i didn't want to spend too much.
Been using it for 2yrs, about once a week since spring and it has been holding up fine. No complaints at all so far. Should be fine if you're not mowing acres of grass.

I don't have any experience with that particular sprinkler.
But my honest opinion is that it's not needed.
Lawns really don't need THAT much water.
Just go out there with a garden hose for 5min every night after dinner and your lawn will be fine.
Plus sprinklers tend to over water and not distribute water too evenly.

How big is the lawn you are growing? If it's big, I suggest getting a gas mower.

hi-revs - thanks for the advice. Good to hear from someone who's using the same mower and it's working out

cunninglinguist - it's a small lawn so I would prefer to stay away from gas

I have this sprinkler 10 dollars more gives you more control of where the water goes. No problems so far had it for 3 years

Gardena products are usually higher quality than yardworks
