BMW Oil Cooler

Oil cooler....

I'm looking to get an oil cooler for my car and it's a N54 3L twin turbo 335i (without factory oil cooler). It's running M1 0W40 and fresh new bmw coolant now, but the oil temp reaches 120 and coolant at 115 which worries me (30 degree outside temperature last week) .

So far, I'm looking to run 100% oil cooler (without oil thermostat) and a aftermarket core like Setrab or Earls. Anyone have any experience with piecing together their oil cooler? Where should I look if I'm looking to get everything locally? OEM would cost $1400+ and aftermarket would be $500 (ER design or Setrab kit cost $800-$1200); Also, the cooler will be a DIY install and behind the front grille.

Piece it at lordco? Mopac?

Something like this....

For things like this piece if from Turner Racing, Bimmerworld, Pelican etc or any reputable BMW suppliers in the states. They have more volume hence in theory more experience.

Comp kit is pretty nice, but not needed if you are just trying to keep the temps down on a hot day.

^ ER design coolers aren't exactly what I'm looking for if I'm paying $800. But thanks !

Btw, anyone carries Earl's cooler locally?
