Read the Province "Provies" blog this morning they have a giant conspiracy blog about Virtanen being scratched for what appears to be disciplinary issues (they are trying to make it out like that anyway).
I've heard Virtanen likes his sauce. Probably gained weight over the break and the team already busts his chops for his belly.
Also heard he was a cancer in the WJC dressing room.. friend of mine was in Helsinki and met one of the player's sisters. Apparently she was saying he thought he was above everyone because of his NHL experience and no one was happy with his stupid penalties.
Guess the Fins were cheering him that last game after every penalty he took. Virtanen is Finnish himself so they were acting like he was their inside man
Surprised no RS'ers have chimed in about knowing the guy seeing as he's from Abbotsford.

Blog said he went to LA over the All-Star weekend probably to see Meretz? Buddy's gotta be careful, he's so young get wrapped up in that entitled LA culture especially celeb wise can really derail you mentally... I'd hate to think the stupid shit I'd have done if I was on my way to rock star status (being a NHL player in Canada) and having those kind of influences. Hope he keeps his shit together...
i don't understand the media's outrage over Weber getting waived and suggestions that Cracknell should've been waived/sent down
i don't exactly remember how much he was utilized on the pp this year but from what i recall his play was garbage
the only reason no one's noticed is because Bartkowski was playing at a shittier level
it's amazing how all they can remember is his 11 goals LAST season but not the fact that he's done fuck all but 5 assists in 35 games this year
Cracknell has a better chance of being claimed than Weber...low cap hit, great penalty killer, versatile bottom 6/4th liner

fuck i hope virt doesnt go down the wrong path like kass did! Canucks cant afford having two power forwards end up being burn outs..it didnt make sense how he was playing so well then got scratched out of nowhere...there has to be some inside shit we arent hearing thats for sure!!

Media in Vancouver is garbage especially 1040. They basically say whatever that's not going right for Vancouver. Win 5-1. They question the single goal against.

Sometimes I think some of these local sports writers are high as fuck on weed when they make these comments.
Seriously? Yannick Weber is NOT Shea Weber. I doubt that the guy can even hit a slap shot at 95mph on the power play, let alone the 108.1 miles that Shea slapped during the All Star skills competition.

Weber has 94.7 minutes of PP time in 35 games (2.71 minutes per game)
He has 5 assists, all on the PP, in 35 games.
He's been a complete liability even strength this season.
Seguin was a total misjudgement by the Bruins organization imo
