Since I've been using McD bags, which are pretty much brown paper lunch bags, I assume it should be ok. Paper decomposes.

They do have some special bags that look like plastic, but are decomposable and waterproof, so that the bags don't leak through. But I'm too cheap to buy those. :fuckthatshit:
