What WIDTH of 17 inch wheels and TIRE SIZE for 1999 Acura Integra Any of you guys out there running 17 inch wheels on 94-01 INTEGRA? Im trying to decide if I should go with a 17x8 wheel with a 215/40r17 tire... or a 17x7 with a 205/40r17 tire... or something else? The car is on stock JDM ITR suspension and currently runs stock 205/50r16 on stock wheels... I prefer no rubbing and won't roll my fenders or anything like that. Ideas? |
17 is too big. 16 is the largest you can run on this chassis without looking silly. with that said an 8" rim is wide enough to run a 205/45 with a bit of a stretch, 205/50 if you want a little more meat or a 215/45 if you want the tire to fit a little more aggressive looking as goes for offset, with a good roll and 2ish degrees of camber you can get away with +25 offset. if you are looking for a safer route with a less aggressive stance a +35 offset is more ideal if you dont wanna roll the fenders (bad idea) you will need at lest a +35 offset with an 8" wheel if you wanna run a 7" you can get away with a +25 offset wheel without a roll im sure plz for the love of jebus do not run a 17" wheel. |
Thanks for the input. Sounds like 16 is the call. So on a 16" wheel going 215/45 shouldn't rub the insides of the fender wells. probably going for a 35 offset |

shouldnt.. but that depends on how low, suspension firmness and camber a light roll is not a bad idea either way though |
205/40/17 will work, be sure the offset of the wheel is correct +40 is safe so the wheels don't hit your fender when you lower it or hit a bump. |
