so if this happens, and cyclist has no ID or refuses to show ID... how to get their info and have ICBC go after them?
or are we SOL?

Pretty much SOL.

We had a similar situation.

Cyclist was at fault but did not have insurance with ICBC so we had to pay the deductible.

#FYL basically.

Heard coworker get into similar situation with cyclist crashing into her side mirror at stop light.

No insurance on cyclist obviously.

Her fault. 100%.

Ridiculous but true.

hate cyclists. they are the ones who cut in front of you without signalling, run all stop signs and lights...etc...thinking they have all the right of way.

i remembered these selfish bastards were causing traffic behind them cause two partners wanted to bike together taking up one lane. a driver honked at them realizing their greed.
