lol i remember my friends going to the grizzles game when they played against the bulls came back talking about how great MJ was on court |
Nothing quite like seeing big country play 2 minutes before subbing off to hug his oxygen mask. Was also there for Antonio Daniels' debut where he had a fast break dunk, but ended up getting rejected by the rim. |
The Grizzlies and the Raptors were both set up to fail by the league. Because of the expansion rules, neither expansion team was allowed to choose in the top 5 in their first draft and not allowed to choose first overall for the next 3 seasons. If the Grizzlies were given the opportunity to draft Allen Iverson, Tim Duncan, or Michael Olowokandi (okay, maybe not him, LOL), things would've gone much differently. Meanwhile, Toronto struggled pretty bad (not as bad, but still pretty bad) until they traded for Vince Carter, who saved them from the same fate. I was a huge Grizzlies fan when they came into the league. Haven't watched an NBA game since they moved. |

I remember I won a pair of tickets for the Grizzlies vs the Denver Nuggets and I couldn't even GIVE them away lol. But I started to get into basketball recently and the closest team is all the way out in Portland, even Seattle lost their team. I love the San Antonio Spurs unselfish playstyle. I'm much more excited for basketball this year than I am hockey. |
never knew why we never drafted lamar odom at the time. he actually wanted to play for us IIRC. the francis trade got us dickerson though. he was pretty good for us until he got paid and then injured and never played again. and :lawl: at othella harrington. everytime he dunked i swear he was defying gravity and it looked like it was in slow-mo :lol |
