A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY Whose going next Sunday? I went to Distant Worlds few years back in the Orpheum and it was pretty awesome. This time around the venue is at the Chan Centre in UBC. Booked tickets today, still plenty left... A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY | The Chan Centre for Performing Arts |
What seats did you go with? Loved distant world, had no idea there was this going on. Pretty psyched to go. |
Sweet! I got seats at the Central Parterre G154-157. I'm curious to see how much the seats are going to fill up since there's only one week to go. 3rd floor is pretty much full and 2nd floor is 85% full while the first floor still has a decent amount of seats albeit they're the more expensive 50-60$ ones. |
i hope i can leave work early for this, can't believe I didn't hear about this until now lol |
Lol right? I feel like it was not advertised! But it's not at the Orpheum. I've never been to the UBC performing center, would you say it's necessary to get the 50-60$ seats? |
^ I don't think so, I'm no expert but the acoustics should sound pretty good wherever you are inside. Unless you want a closer view of the orchestra. I'm gonna bring my binoculars in my fanny pack just in case anyway hehe |
got my tickets! Just realized there's going to be a lot of cos players at the Chan Centre... It should be interesting. |
The music played will be very different compared to distant worlds. I suggest you listen to it online first since the new style is "intimate", aka boring to some. |
Bought tickets for the second level Dress Circle C265-266! Looked over some of the music played and seems good to me. |
this will be my first Final Fantasy live performance , was hoping for Aerith's Theme! |
