Network Sharing Problem Can't seem to find answer on google... I have 2 computers on a network..#1 is always on wired ethernet. #2 is usually on wired ethernet, but sometimes on wifi. When I have #2 on wired LAN, I can share folders&files perfectly fine between the two computers. However, when I have #2 on wifi. (Same router/network of course), I can see the other computers from both #1 & #2, but when I click on them, it said I don't have permission to access it.. I already changed the sharing folder security/permission setting to "EVERYONE" on the network. Anyone knows why and how to fix this? |
Check your firewall setting on your Wifi connection.. chances are that connection is blocking file sharing protocol. Port 139 and 445 should be open. |
