I would just like to remind everyone that burn outs, donuts and other behaviours are unacceptable at meets and in public locations. If you feel the need to do these things, please do them elsewhere as it makes the rest of the group look bad.

it shows that you understand that isn't the proper way to conduct yourself at a meet.
it may seem innocent at the time, but what you have to think about is that you might throw rocks and other debris at the cars around you.

or what if something happened, you lost control and hit a nearby car?

to yourself and other people that may want to do the same, that isn't proper meet etiquette. it's not acceptable regardless of whether it's an RS sanctioned meet or not. doing that kind of this gives the car scene a bad name, and with the Market Crossing meets the way they are we don't need any more bad examples.

Showed up around 8:00 and did not see a grouping of cars. Hung around long enough to see the Mustang doing the donut. Wondered what the point was given there could not have been more than 20 people around to see it. Went out to Iona Beach and watched a 747 take off. Now THAT is a display of power.
