You can always park in the underground parking lot of the library across the street.

I return my borrowed books and DVD's at library then walk across the street to Crystal Mall. Thanks to this thread, I will take extra care when crossing. Never know when Mexican, I mean, euro granny and their high end scooters come barrelling down looking for Asians to run over - a la Gululu.

RS, so informative.................

How heavy are those scooters? It looked very tippable.

They can be surprisingly heavy with all the batteries and motors, and the weight is quite low down (probably for stability). I had to help lift a smaller 3 wheeled scooter and it was quite heavy, this closed in thing is probably a couple hundred pounds.

death_blossom 08-06-2015 10:15 PM

still surprised this lady hasn't been located yet.

GLOW 08-07-2015 06:36 AM

probably because it hasn't really gone viral. if she hit a dog she would have been hung by now :troll:

Hondaracer 08-07-2015 09:19 AM

Not saying the lady who got hit is guilty of this, but Jesus people walking out of/into crystal mall and across kingsway etc are fucking idiots. So many times I've seen just oblivious peoe jaywalking from those little light post medians into traffic without looking.

Last month I saw an older woman pushing a baby carriage, she stops like a meter off the crib IN TRAFFIC to adjust the babies blanket etc. if Somone wasn't looking they would have plowed right over her and the baby, she could have walked like 4 more feet and been on the sidewalk

Ya and then when you honk and yell "move you fucking moron!" They don't even flinch. Like they do t even hear you. Belting them with a coffee would be nice!

Can a person lay charges if he/she gets injuried by a wheelchair?

Of course!

Saw her scooter roaming around Metrotown's outdoor parking lot yesterday afternoon. Pretty sure she's in that area pretty frequent.

Mikoyan 08-12-2015 02:50 PM

Owner of the video says in a Facebook post August 4th, that the RCMP identified the woman.

MG1 08-12-2015 05:41 PM

Settle it the usual way..................

Just spotted this lady 2 days ago near Nelson and Kingsway. Shouldn't be too hard to find her in the Metrotown area.

rageguy 09-15-2015 02:16 PM

Well, she is back. This time she killed someone.

B.C. RCMP - RCMP seeking witnesses to serious pedestrian accident

ODStryker00 09-15-2015 02:16 PM

wow. did you report this to the rcmp just in case? Look like they already know her though since they identified the driver as a female.

320icar 09-15-2015 02:59 PM

Oh my god!!! This can't be real. Holy shit man :(

Spoon 09-15-2015 03:01 PM

Several people already linked the video to RCMP's twitter.

jasonturbo 09-15-2015 03:04 PM

Jesus, society today.

Like, if you can't murder people with your mobility scooter what can you do????

Spoiler!

this lady just ran over an elderly man today, sept 11/ 2015, who was waiting to cross the street on Edmonds in burnaby. she did not get away this time, as the police and ambulance were called, while she was forced to wait. when i left from work later in the day, there was yellow ribbon around her vehicle, and police officers were taking pictures and measuring. the elderly man, was not responsive, as the ambulance attendants tried to help him :(

Ronin 09-15-2015 03:35 PM

Well they chose not to do anything about it the first time...

How did she get away the first time? It's not like you're holding onto a car. You could probably just hang onto the back of it and she wouldn't be able to drive off.

Hondaracer 09-15-2015 05:06 PM

at 91 a gust of wind could do ya in if you hit the side walk

pretty fucked up though if its this same bitch
