I completely disagree with you. I can see where you are coming from though as my brother often feels the same. Reminds me of that Mr. Skinner line in the Simpsons 'Am I so out of touch? No, it's the children who are wrong'. But, on one hand you have the hottest rapper in the game and on the other you have an almost has-been (I'm a fan of Dre but he hasn't been that relevant as far as music goes in the past few years. His sound hasn't evolved much in my opinion.). I assume you are over 30, just like most of Dre's fans. Most of my friends (I'm 34) will download Dre's album and won't even give it a second thought to actually pay for it. A lot of the younger generation that I know, cousins, nieces, nephews, friend's children, will actually ask for iTunes cards and buy albums, rather than pirate them, more than anyone I know.

On topic though, I haven't listened to the album yet and I hope it doesn't suck as much as I think it will. I just hope he had people writing for him that can make it sound authentic coming from him. As long as some of his guests can save it that's all you can really ask for.

So true about Dre having the same sound, don't get me wrong the album isn't bad but I was of course hoping for more since I have been listening to dre for since the chronic. Yup I'm over 33 and I did buy the album since its dre and he's never disappointed before.

Drake is by far the hottest in the game and I'm a massive fan as well, especially after what he did to Meek Mill he has gained so much respect in the rap game he's only going to get bigger then what he already is.

Like most had said, it's a decent album, and it does grow on you. I expected more as well, there's no bangers, or hits that would leave a lasting impression. :(

I miss 90's rap.

It's only one guy and he's from Toronto, Drake gave him his big break and now he's the next Michael Jackson to be honest.

Finally had the chance to really listen to the album, on a good set up, and it's decent...it's growing on me.

I knew it wasn't going to be like 2001 or The Chronic, but deep down I had my fingers crossed lol.

Probably doesn't help that I've been listening to my old NWA and Easy E cds lol
