Car Roof Racks & Boxes

Does anyone know of any good reliable/not overly expensive places to purchase racks & a box and have them installed on coupes (Accord 08 Ex-L). Any place that isn't too expensive would be nice!

order online and install yourself

well...i don't know, i think it's pretty standard pricing on gears and pretty standard pricing on labor as well.

RackAttack. Had good service when I bought my stuff from them.

My go to place for roof rack accessories was REI in Bellingham before the exchange rate took a crap :(

I got all my roof rack stuff from orsracks. They sometimes have 20% off certain brands so there price couldn't really be beat by anyone. But that was years ago when our dollar was better.

If you're looking for a rooftop cargo box, you can usually snipe a pretty decent one on craigslist. If youre willing to put some work in, cracked Thule boxes usually go for cheap and are easily repaired.

Lordco online is clearing out some cheapo Sportrack brand racks, ~$120/pr.

If you're an REI member, occasionally, they have 20% off coupons that work with roof racks and boxes. With the exchange rate as it is, I don't know if it's worth it right now.

Other options might be to get the racks and boxes off Craigslist and just buy the towers (the part that hooks onto your door frame and onto the horizontal bars) that are specific to your car from a local source if you want to save a few bucks. They're fairly easy to install so you should be able to DIY it.

Rack Attacks only problem is it's pricey.

Personally I'd go online and order it, and install it yourself. It's quite simple tbh.

There's no need to get people to install it as I would never get a "drilled in" kit. Just for the sake that one day you might want it removed, but then you'll have abunch of holes in your roof.
