Will a 1999 Honda Civic SI alternator work in my 1997 SI?
 

Will be going to replace my alternator soon on my 1997 Honda Civic SI (d series), just wondering if an alternator from a 1999 Civic si (d series ) will fit. Seller told me to verify if itll work on my car as the plugs may be different his alternator has 3 pins? Looked online and from the threads I have read through it should work as long as its from one d series to another, just want to confirm...:accepted:


edit problem solved:
took the plug off of my alternator and it does fit its also 3 pins.
