Gotta be honest I've fully washed my 4Runner maybe twice in the two and a half years I've owned it so I'm pretty sure it'll survive to the end of the summer. Or next summer, lol.

when will the restriction be over?
everyone in my block is watering their plants, they dont care about the restriction at all but I'm to concern about being ticketed..

From my understanding you can water your plants. You just can't use the automated/manual sprinklers.

"Hand watering of trees, shrubs, flowers, decorative planters and vegetable gardens using a spring-loaded shutoff nozzle, containers or a drip irrigation system is permitted. "

I've used Goclean Waterless. This stuff actually surprised me how well it worked

i've mentioned this before... i was at the chevron on the corner of hastings/willingdon and watched this woman and kid using the gas station squeegees and the water from the buckets to wash their entire car. she was even telling the kid to scrub harder to get the birdshit off the roof.

I just cleaned the car for $3 at a wand wash place. Car is all clean. LOL.

I had part of my car XPEL wrapped by a local detailer so I can clean that part with just a wet towel. If I create any fine scratches it self heals within 30 minutes. The rest of the car has a hard ceramic coating so not much will stick to it. Perfect for quick pressure washes.

supposed to start getting wet again starting this friday:

Vancouver, British Columbia - 14 Day Weather Trend - The Weather Network

so plan accordingly.

I plan on it raining a shit ton so this stupid restriction gets lifted and I can give my bish a proper wash.

thumper 08-26-2015 12:46 PM

unfortunately it will take maybe a solid week of rain to get us out of the restrictions :(

2 buckets of water and ONR in my underground parking lot on a weekday while everyone was at work so I won't get caught by the snitches in my apartment

Thankfully I managed to wax both cars right before stage 3 went in, so every few weeks I've just been taking them to a wand wash.

Never using the brush of course, just a soak with the wash soap, then a rinse. Actually does a decent job.

My black car on the other hand... :heckno:

She needs a proper wash. The rinse method just ain't cuttin' it lol.

But even when we get rain, it's gonna take a while before the stage 3 is lifted. It's been dry for so long, we have a lot of catching up to do lol.

My skin is feeling the dryness....as if I wasn't in a dry enough spell already...

fail because you dont need to do the "two bucket method" with ONR.
