2015 ford f150 lift questions.... Hey dudes...... I am really new to this whole truck thing. I just got a new f150 about a month ago and i am looking to put a lift on it and some bigger rubbers. I am looking for a 2.5 inch lift or 3. Just was curious if u guys have had any experience or tips or sites to buy a lift from. Also tires i am looking for 32 inch to 33. thanks for the help http://i58.tinypic.com/xf3ptt.jpg |
Check North Shore Off-Road, Big Country Customs, or Four Wheel Parts (there are others around, those are just the shops that come immediately to mind). |

why what ? ^^ |
i would stick with 18" wheels and 33's with a leveling kit, specially for a brand new truck. just got a Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit installed on my 2015 Sierra and it rides stock. for the Sierra i can run 33x11.5x20. im not to familiar with fords but i know you can stuff bigger tires in them with just a simple leveling kit http://www.procompusa.com/suspension...t=9333&pl=7142 this kit from pro comp only front strut spacers that would level the truck and give you 3" up front. 2.5in Leveling Lift Kit w/N2.0 Shocks for 2015 Ford F-150 Pickup [554.20] | Rough Country Suspension SystemsŪ this kit is from Rough Country which is the same brand i am using on my truck and for a leveling kit its great. plus this kit has rear spacers to give you more room out back and restores some factory "rake". hope this gives you a starting point. |
question, why would you only lift the front and leave the rear??. |
^ typically stock trucks sit higher in the rear to handle heavy loads. If you're not hauling heavy loads very often you don't need the rake. |
Leveling kits make every truck look better IMO. Nice F150 btw, OP. |

running 35's on my 2011 f150 with stock 20" wheels and just a leveling kit in the front. no issues here what so ever. well, gas mileage did drop buy like 3L/100km but meh, it is a truck after all. and op, visit www.f150forum.com theres tons of info on what setups will work the best for your truck. just going to have to sit back and weed through the posts. |
here i thought those 3'' skyjacker rear & front setups were the only way to go...Might just go for the simple 200 dollar leveling kit. |
