Porsche Mission E concept It will be interesting to see how it works out.. on one hand is Germans and Korean LGChem.. on the other is US Tesla and Panasonic. I am glad that it finally taken out the fake radiator cooling and put in only cooling for brakes! http://www.wired.com/wp-content/uplo...b-1024x683.jpg http://www.wired.com/wp-content/uplo...b-1024x432.jpg Quote:

wow, even i would consider an ev if it looked like that |
Wonder if they used any of the information that tesla released 2 years ago in that huge "our research free for anyone who wants it" dump |
Nahh.. our research is free, but for commercial purposes it is not. Also IP doesn't really apply if you approach the problem in another way.. eg even changing the composition of the magnets invalidates the IP. Porsche has their own R&D eg their 919 project. Also have a ton more OE backing like Bosch, Siemens etc.. Tesla burnt a lot of bridges when they screw around with the gearboxes back when they created the Roadster. Quote:

I don't like the styling of this at all... it's boring, like a bar of Dove soap with headlights and wheels. |
