Transmission Question

About to sell my beater ('96 accord AT) out to the market, got it inspected by mech. Torque converter needs attention. Any recommended shops I can get a quote with?

Thx

Just curious, what is wrong with the torque converter?

+1. What are the symptoms?

For the cost to re/re the torque converter, you might be better off just changing the fluid using Honda atf and giving a discount on the sale price. Not worth the hassle/cost, given the car's value.

currently, a lot of excess vibration when stopping at the lights. have to shift to neutral to feel less vibration.

Just say its part of the muscle car experience and slap on an extra 500.

it's just the transmission dragging more than normal. my 91 did the same thing, better off not fixing it.

Sounds like the rear engine mount is worn

+1 for checking the engine mounts first, you always want to start with cheaper fixes first just in case you nail the problem, before you start spending money on the expensive stuff.
