Z32 300zx Ebrake adjust?
 

Tried adjusting me E-brake from the bolt below it. Didnt work. I apparently have to adjust it from behind the wheel. i know theres like a plug that needs to be twisted behind the rotor i think....can someone tell me how to properly do this?

The process is not difficult to do; it's time consuming.

Stop block all wheels touching the ground.
Release e-brake.
Jack-up your car.
Take the wheel off.
Put the car in neutral; you need the spin the rear wheel freely to test your adjustments.
Locate the e-brake adjustment hole. It is usually protected by a rubber seal:

Rotate the brake rotor, so the hole is lined up with the adjuster in the picture below:

Using a flat head screw driver, rotate the adjuster until you cannot rotate the rotor by hand.
Now, using the adjuster, release the e-brake by 4 clicks.

Thanks so much ! Fixed it. I think mine is currently at 7 clicks from what used to be 15. If i Yank it then it stops at about 9. My Friend says 3 clicks is what it should be? How many?

On a side note....Anyone have an extra rubber plug for the rotor? was taking mine out and somehow it got swallowed in the rotor and sits on the bottom.

just remove the drum cover and get the rubber piece. might need a smack to loosen it free.
