AFR Hey guys, I scraped my downpipe the other day and now my Tanabe VLS gauge is reading 0.01 - 0.02 too rich. It was a stable 14.7 idle and 20.0 decel for the last year and minutes before scraping Now it's reading a stable 14.6 and a 19.8 Any idea what might be causing a slightly rich reading? I looked underneath and it seems fine and I also reset the battery which didn't help The sensor is mounted on the top side of the downpipe so it couldn't of possibly hit the ground |
it could have just been a coincidence. i know with AEM afr guages as they get older they read closer and closer to 14.3 in my case i bottomed out pretty good and had actually bent the sensor and it read 14.3 after that it could just need a clean or its getting old also, it is getting colder now and that could throw off your afr's a bit |
