There's a place in kerrisdale that sell these types of things now...actually it used to be online only but now they've made it public and display the figures at the shop. It was called toytards. Same unit as Royal Laura.

I remember taking a really long time to figure out where the place is, as it was just a woman's boutique store in the past.

I remember seeing these at Memory Express in Richmond
It's a hobby?

Toy Traders has a pretty big selection iirc. I haven't seen the new store yet, but they might have more since I think they moved into a larger place.

Reserved a Baymax at Golden Age Collectables, but never got a call :(

Inaii 10-16-2015 08:06 PM

Taz comics on Hastings also carries some of them. I got my mini Deadpool keychain from EB.

Preemo 10-16-2015 10:29 PM

Oh man. I started out with a few ... the ones that you could easily find. And then it ballooned to exclusives only ... and now I'm on the Hikari train. I can't get enough of this shit! Here are a few pics I have on hand.

A basic Yondu signed by Michael Rooker. And a signed Stan Lee exclusive.

http://i57.tinypic.com/e7f5p4.jpg
More exclusive variants of TMNT signed by co-creator Kevin Eastman.

Signed Hikari Spiderman by Stan Lee and my display case of my A-Game stuff. Need more glass cases! Haha

Edit: Also, I get my hard to find stuff from a small place called Urban Poppe Shoppe based out of Calgary. They're like the relic hunters of hard to find stuff. Like Manny Pacquiao from Asia, etc.

say wut, when and where did this happen?

68style 10-17-2015 06:46 AM

I saw another user say it in another thread, something about posting a video that has some racist comment in it? I thought it sounded pretty chintzy though I have not investigated it myself.

Has anyone seen the Carnage and Anti Venom in stock locally anywhere?

Only have one Pop Figure but have a bunch of Mighty and Mini Muggs which is similar.

SkinnyPupp 10-31-2015 08:52 PM

I have some figures as well, of nostalgic things, mostly from my first trip to Japan... However I don't see the point of keeping them in the box. Why not take them out so you can fully enjoy them?

Mr.Money 10-31-2015 08:56 PM

....i just like preemo's rare signed ones now..of course those will sell.

i like these in box because of the stackability and they work as nice displays especially if you've got variants etc. i couldn't imagine how much room you would need to display these without boxes.

I quickly realized how annoying it would be if I collected all the "common" ones. Quickly shifted focus to the rare ones and all of a sudden it's more addictive. Haha
