So you are driving someone for 2 hours. What if you get stuck in traffic? Now it's taking you an extra hour and you are late to pick the next guy up. It will be next to impossible to have 4 clients in day.

For a guy who cant even commit to school, it really shows in his "business" practice..

Mr. S63 should name his company S63 For Show. :lawl:

-still won't feel like a baller next to UBC students who drive their exotics even with a chauffeur in a S63. :QQ:

Harvey Specter 11-05-2015 12:11 PM

Mainland Chinese won't be caught dead in a old S63, only new S63 and Maybach for them.

dat_steve 11-05-2015 12:47 PM

but yo, don't forget those air miles

Ronin 11-05-2015 02:28 PM

LOL $200 a MONTH?! Sign me up for a year. $2400 doesn't even cover insurance and gas.

assuming he can fit in 2 or 3 clients a day, and half the month is booked. 3x$200=$600/day. $600/day x15 days=$9000/month. $9000/month x12 months=$108000. so if he had rotating drivers, and worked that one car for 12 hours a day, he can make even more $$$.

i am sure that can cover insurance and gas.

BoostedBB6 11-05-2015 09:42 PM

$600/day

6hrs to pay a driver, average driver makes around $25/hr. Thats $150 paid to driver leaving you with $450.

Fuel for a S63 driven for 6 hours a day. Averaging 16mpg.
Lets say they average a 60mph speed for that 6 hours of driving (using this as calculating for stop and go traffic, idling etc is a PITA) . That's around 23 gallons. The tank size is 23.8gallon. So basically a full tank of fuel for 6 hours of driving. This car hols around 90 liters of fuel at 132.9 (current price of premium fuel in van as of now)
Thats $120 in fuel for the drive.

We are down to $330.

Now factor in the wear and tear on the vehicle. The increasing cost of maintenance from being driven this often. The oil change alone is around $250 and doing that every months or so will add up. As well as all the other items that will see increased wear.

Lets call is $30/day wear and tear.

Were at $300 now.

The insurance cost to operate a vehicle like this one as a taxi is rather high. It will cost per day, around $120 to operate the car insured for this kind of driving.

$180 we are now at.

This is before you take into account that each client will have snacks/drinks available. Lets call it $10 per client used.

$170

Oh, and then you can take your tax off of this as well seeing as it will be a business that you are running. Web hosting costs to have a site, merchant services costs, possible cost of a person to handle bookings for clients, scheduling maintenance, the electricity to run the computers, lights, equipment, safe storage of the vehicles. The simple overhead costs alone will eat up the $170 or enough of it to kill any sign of profitability.

So even if the cars are run every day for many hours in that day the cost of overhead+operations+tax+etc will outweigh the profit at a $200 base price to rent this car.

SoNaRWaVe 11-05-2015 10:51 PM

heh, didn't say he'd turn a profit. just saying that its enough to cover gas and insurance.

Roach 11-06-2015 06:07 AM

Don't forget depreciation on the vehicle. $67,000 S63 loses value rather quickly as mileage increases.

No question there. It looses even more when insured for its intended use. When declared as a taxi you can bet that people are not going to pay top dollar for it anymore.

Just the know costs will kill profit. The unknown/unexpected costs will drive it under....at those prices anyway.

originalhypa 11-06-2015 11:02 AM

So, was I right to shut down his shitty threads?

Why's everyone so rustled? Not even your money. :speechless:

SpuGen 11-15-2015 09:54 PM

Am I allowed to have Coitus while being driven?

Do you answer for service at random times on a Friday or Saturday night?

Pros:
- Cheaper than a hotel
- She still doesn't know where I live
- She has no excuse to not leave after I'm done.

Cons:
- Audience.

v_tec 01-30-2016 12:45 AM

Where did OP go :troll:

That feeling when he would have to check the "Vehicle has been used as a taxi" box on the APV9T form.
