Best quality guitar amp

hey guys,

I'm looking for the best guitar amp (brands??) out there that is not made in China. The brand/quality (Marshall??) of the AMP must be equivalent to as of a Rolls Royce. It also has a general playing style and it can be carried around in a luggage.
Can you please list them (Brand, Price, Playing Style).

Please help Revseners =]
Much appreciated!

Update: Just got a msg from my dad noting that he is willing to spend $1500-2500 on it. Now the problem is... where can I find one..? As Truth mentioned the Yamaha THR10's about $300.00. I need something more expensive than that. My dad's friend mentioned a good one is about $1500.

Check out the Yamaha THR series. It's compact but it sounds amazing. I own one of these myself and it sounds great playing both guitar and bass.

Go try one out at long and Mcquade or tom lee or any amp for that fact to see what fits your playing style.

Thanks Truth, I"m buying this for my dad's friend, He asked me to pick an AMP for this son's birthday. Little does he know, I have no clue about guitars and which one to buy for him.

Should I get an AMP like this?

My suggestion would be to visit those music stores and chat with the people there. One thing that sticks out to me is your criteria of it needing to fit inside a suitcase. These things can be pretty massive.
Unfortunately I don't know too much about the bigger head/cabinet type combinations due to my lack of stage appearances :p

you've been great help, thankyou! I did one out already.
