RS7. Ride is more comfortable than M5 or CLS63 imo.

and lol @ awd for a daily...let me guess? you're gonna drive your $100k super saloon in the snow with michelin pss because awd is going to magically save you?

Mr.Money 11-20-2015 08:45 AM

911 turbo....their pretty good with the free maintenance for 5 years,Brand new anyway.

One Punch Man 11-20-2015 08:49 AM

After inquiring more about the RS7, I am left with two options.

What are your thoughts guys, standard or performance?http://i.imgur.com/I1rdfMN.jpg

meme405 11-20-2015 08:54 AM

RR LWB Autobiography.

If your spending 150k get the real range rover, not the sport.

The other great options have been listed: M5, M6GC or GTR

yray 11-20-2015 08:56 AM

corolla and reinvest money to buy 300k DD :troll:

Galactic_Phantom 11-20-2015 09:19 AM

Power assisted door closer? :rukidding: really? thats a thing now?

Dragon-88 11-20-2015 09:20 AM

Ya save up and get a Ferrari FF. 4 seater, 12 cylinder, awd.. :fullofwin:

Indyjones 11-20-2015 09:31 AM

If you're going to spend that amount of money on a car, I wouldn't listen to other people's opinions. Everybody likes something different. Buy whichever vehicle suits you best.
I always smirk when I read these "what should I buy" threads, and then every post recommends something different. :grinno:

Probably troll, but fuck it.

For ~150k, I wouldn't be looking at new; I'd be looking at a low mileage used Rapide or something similar.

Edit: Just to explain my reasoning, the Audi/Merc are bland for Vancouver. A7s and CLSs are quite common, and tbh I'm not a huge fan of the interior. For that kind of money, I don't want to be one more in the crowd.

Nlkko 11-20-2015 11:33 AM

For that money and purpose, a Tesla P85D is a no brainer.

Mr.Money 11-20-2015 12:25 PM

with Vancouver installing power stations for the Tesla,it would be smart idea....But..they go 800km without being recharged unless you're going up to Whistler

gilly 11-20-2015 12:54 PM

^ are you sure? Thought they had around 400km of range... not 800km

Adorkami 11-20-2015 01:22 PM

If you are willing to wait nearly a year you could always go with the Tesla model X

HKSR 11-20-2015 01:43 PM

Generally, people that can afford a $150k vehicle have the funds to buy it in cash (or damn well close to it). If you're needing to finance a $150k vehicle, you're probably stretching your budget, and should probably rethink what you're doing considering the massive depreciation you're gonna get hit with (the first little while, you'll probably owe more than the vehicle is worth after driving it off the lot).

Nevertheless, that's not what this thread is about... so my take is the RS7 as well. Style, power, luxury, and spacious for longer road trips.

BEEB 11-20-2015 02:59 PM

Can't believe someone who's capable of earning $100K+ and willing to dispose $100K+ on a car while so indecisive and need opinion on RS

One Punch Man 11-20-2015 03:11 PM

Thanks for your input guys. It definitely helped me consider some cars that I did not think of before. :)

Gucci Mane 11-21-2015 02:18 AM

hellcat charger gets my vote.

Financing has nothing to do with wealth. With manufacturers offering all sort of attractive financing options, one'd be stupid not to take it.

It works out cheaper to finance vs. buy it outright. Why buy?

tofu1413 11-21-2015 08:33 AM

^ yep.

Might as well put the liquid cash into things that would make you money (investments... and 911's :lawl: )

Harvey Specter 11-21-2015 10:50 AM

Used G63 would be a good buy.

Galactic_Phantom 11-21-2015 11:57 AM

^really? How does one even dd that thing? It was one of the worst cars not a prius/corolla I have ever driven. It jerks from any sort of acceleration and it feels like there is a boulder on the back when ever it turns. I've never sat at the back before but it looks cramped af. Aside from aesthetics I can't imagine much pros of that car

tofu1413 11-21-2015 12:03 PM

its good for off road and running over cyclists.

:lawl:

In general, I'd agree with you. But in this context, I don't.

Let me know when you find those attractive financing options on an RS7, or other $150k+ luxury vehicle.
