My opinion is the Chinese EVs are like Hyundai/Stellantis programs.
Incredible selection of exterior styling, interior trim, electronics, and sometimes, performance.

Close to 0 validation: Zeekr Golden batteries were bricking.
Terrible driving dynamics: BYD stuff is like Sonata, body rolls like the Titanic.
Terrible safety performance: Xiaomi SU7 seat frames collapses & brakes aren’t real.

What confuses me is how much you guys like them while shitting on Hyundai and Stellantis.

At least the Stellantis RWD stuff is quiet, drives like the MB they’re based on, has solid V8 and ZF8.

Spoke with the people working there. They said the Touring is expected to come at the end of the year and priced at 113k starting. He said honestly, he expects production to start at the end of the year but don't expect to see the car until next year at least Spring. I asked if there's something smaller coming, he said there's a midsize in the pipelines but don't expect it until 2028.
we might pick up an air touring tomorrow

ugh the shut lines on the back clearly had the space for a liftback design, but can overlook the traditional trunk because the frunk is massive

a review says the steering is from 991 GT3, havent been able to verify that lol did find that the dream edition they did mention benchmarking GT3's suspension

lucid is still a newer brand, not sure if getting a year 1 production vehicle would be good peace of mind

if it's the same one as the CT5V
the steering sounds loud too during parking because the EV is so quiet

It’s the same Bosch motor as the GT cars but tuning and controls might be different

Keep in mind a LOT of steering feels also relies on geometry and tire.

Question for Tesla owners and those who have looked into Teslas.

In the GVRD, do you have to take your Tesla to Tesla for service, assuming it is under warranty?

What if your car is out of warranty? What are your options? Do third-party shops exist to perform repairs on Tesla?

Gasp I can't believe you're looking at a Tesla

New or used? What's your verdict if you've test driven it?

The trunk on the Air I agree is a bit weird. I'm guessing they did design it for a liftback but upper chassis rigidity became a problem?

The Air honestly looks a lot better than the Gravity, but we need the hatch trunk

Yesterday, my brother was giddy to show me his brand new Ioniq 6 dual motor.

In reality, you couldn't even pay me $1000 to give a shit. It's fast but everything else felt like i was in a dentist's office.

Then again, he's a finance bro without the finance

Ioniq is an appliance - just happens to be a fairly fast charging one.

Air drives with grace, balance, and input tuning that is BETTER than E39.
Really dope.

Heard someone here said the Gravity was kinda small?
