2008 Evo X MR 5spd Swap. FULLY BUILT Hello internet lands. I'm not very active on this local board but have been and am very active in other areas of the web. If you've been to RG at all over the last 6 months you've undoubtedly looked at my car and wondered WTF??? Well, the time has come, I'm putting up for sale the project I've been involved in for the last 3 years of my life. My 2008 Evo X MR (now a GSMR??) is going up for sale. Currently the car is still disassembled as we sort out the last few wiring items and work with Mitsu Canada to get it rolling. Once it is up and running I will get it tuned on E85, 91 and potentially flex fuel if a buyer is looking for that option. When the car was running the SST trans it made 660whp and 480wtq on RG's dyno, in corrected numbers. It was around 580whp uncorrected. Now for the good stuff. PM me on here, find me on Facebook (Rik Van Egdom) or email me - vanegdom . rik at gmail . com ASKING $45,000 CAD OR $37,500 USD Motor 2.15L Darton Sleeved OEM Block OEM crank shaft OEM bearings Pauter Rods Arias 89.5mm pistons (~9.1:1 comp) Block align honed and decked Hyundai pulleys (metal, not plastic like OEM mitsu) Head Ported/Polished as far and as much as you can go on a 4B11T head 1mm over ferrara valves (intake and exhaust) springs and retainers new and matched to cams and valves Kelford 214c cams Induction Borg Warner 8374 .92 IWG turbo Turbo Smart high boost actuator Full Race manifold Full Race intake pipe Custom SSP billet aluminum intake manifold Full Race cold pipe Custom hot pipe Full Race 3 1/2" intercooler Fueling Radium surge tank with 400lb/h internal pump 255lb/h lift pump Easy pump controller (controls voltage and flow with surge tank) -AN lines for feed and return lines Boomba fuel rail ID2000 injectors AEM fuel pressure regulator Zetronix flex fuel sensor and digital gauge (gauge in the car) Driveline Shep built 5 speed trans Shep built ralli art rear diff (mechanical, stronger than X diff for more dig fun) Stock front diff Stock transfer case Suspension AMR custom coil overs AMR front strut tower brace White Line front sway bar Perrin rear sway bar (I may have the brands swapped for front/rear, sorry) Wheels/Tires Enkei Raijin 18" x 9.5 Brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sports (265 R18) Cosmetic Custom wrap and livery by Designer Wraps Vis Racing front lip Custom 4 pillar pod - Boost gauge - Wideband - Temp gauge (was trans temp for SST, can be routed to wherever) - Oil pressure Stereo Pioneer component speakers all around Pioneer amp in the trunk Nav/head unit (can't remember the brand as I write this) Dyna matt all doors and a few other places I purchased the car as a relatively stock MR from Quebec almost 3 years ago. In that time I've barely driven it as it's been shipped all over the place as I tried to chase the world record for horsepower and torque in an MR. After blowing up 3 SST's in the course of about 3 months I decided to swap a 5spd into the car and that's where it sits, almost ready to be a blast for someone else. During all this waiting I decided that I was getting too busy to have a car this fast, and honestly wasn't as interested in it as I thought I would be. I've since purchased a new 2015 M3 and am having a blast in it and it's relatively tame 425bhp. Having the Evo is really just redundant at this time so It's time to head off to someone else's new home. I purchased the car for $29,500 from a Mitsu dealership. With that value included I have well over $100,000 spent (not invested) in it... Every part was/is top of the line and was thought out for a very specific reason. This car is capable of 9 second 1/4 mile times with the right driver and will absolutely terrify you if you aren't careful. Once the car is up and running I'd be happy to take people out in it but no test pilots unless it's damn near a sale. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psvpggsk6r.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps1dnosovv.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...pstxfcjicr.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps890caaa0.jpg |
