RSX Type S - blew clutch master cylinder

Hey guys,

the other day I was just driving and hit a red light. The moment it turned green I stepped on the clutch and I heard a big pop and my clutch then turned weightless. Checked my CMC and it seems to be missing a bolt (attached a pic). Anyways I searched some stuff up on google and found some info that apparently the triangular design for the CMC is prone to failure, especially if you're running an aftermarket clutch (which I am). Would replacing the bolt and bleeding it out fix it, or is the whole CMC toast?

Yes, its a common problem with the type S. Get the Em2 CMC.

are the threads stripped out ? or did the firewall give out , can you use a bolt with a lock nut and washers to re-secure the CMC?

Don't bother thinking about fixing the cmc you have now.
Buy the em2 cmc, it's an upgrade.

kk gonna decide to just pick up an em2 cmc.
got a place come back to me saying that they can get a sachs branded one for 80 bucks. never heard of them, anyone got insight about sachs? or should i pick up an oem honda one?
