Faraday FFZERO1 I thought he was saying "Thanks Nig*er" in the beginning lol This claims to be Tesla killer...yeah right. 1000hp 0-60 under 3sec http://o.aolcdn.com/dims-global/dims...p1059759-1.jpg http://core0.staticworld.net/images/...6088-large.jpg |
Cool concept, awesome tech, but he lost me when he said one of their goals was to "fight ugliness" They failed in that department. |
Tesla P85D looks sick and has the functionality that can carry up to 5 people while still has ability to go from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds. Not much of a tesla killer .............. |
^ agreed a large appeal of tesla is that they are attempting to bring EV cars to the mass market for everyone to use. if faraday wanted to create a "tesla killer," they wouldnt have presented a 1000hp single seater that is completely unusable on the public road |

That was a sick reveal. Then once the light show ended and I saw it from another angle besides the profile, I was like... :heckno: a rectangular BOX??! |
Local buddy of mine recently landed a job with them and now works for them in LA. I'm not a fan of how this thing looks, hopefully it has enough tech to compete with the others in market. They got some billionaire Chinese guy investing in the company. |
^ and your point is? |
This particular model isn't meant to be the Tesla killer (from what I understood) They are saying that they can use any "shell" that they want on this platform, so they can create a sedan shell and use it on the same drivetrain, as well as a coupe if they choose to. Seems like they went with this shell for "wow" value (ugly in my opinion so that didn't pan out) The platform for this vehicle is what I think they refer to as the Tesla killer, once they produce a shell that can be brought to market for the masses and street use. Hopefully they can create something competetive so there are more options available out there. |
Cool tech. Looking to see more from them. |
They're gonna fizzle out faster than Fisker. |
very first thing i thought about... |
