How do you search for your post in a 1000+ page thread?

Without scrolling every page looking for it that is, call it a newb question if you want. Thanks.

Top right of the thread page is a drop down for "Search this Thread." Select Advanced Search and then you can do a search by either word or user. Searching your name is probably the quickest solution.

Alternatively you can do this:

Click the number under the "Replies" column:


Will open up a window that looks like this, it will list everyone that has posted in the thread, and the number of posts, in descending order. Clicking the number next to your name will give the same results as Lomac's suggestion.


Both Lomac's and this way will bring you to a custom search page, of that thread, for posts by username.
